Once again, Visual Philosophy (VP), the resident artists of VP, and a number of fabulous guest artists are opening the doors for two days of our Handmade for the Holidays art fair. This is your chance to pick up unique handmade gifts directly from the artists who created them. We’ll have over 30 creatives offering a variety of goodies ranging from original art and prints, ceramics, homegoods, and apparel to accessories and stickers. The Alameda Artworks, directly across the street from us behind Recycle Bookstore, will be holding their annual Winter Art Fair the same weekend and will have 20+ artists exhibiting and selling their own marvelous, unique creations. That makes over 50 artists combined showing and selling their creations on The Alameda. How can you resist?
Plus, December 10th is Second Saturday on The Alameda, a monthly art walk in our downtown neighborhood. A number of other businesses on The Alameda will have live music and specials. The Visit The Alameda Instagram account has information on the offerings of the various local merchants to help you plan your visit.
